The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals has announced the appointment of Mary Jo Heston to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Western District of Washington. Judge Heston's term will be effective February 1, 2017.  She will fill a vacancy resulting from the retirement of Judge Paul Snyder and will have chambers in the Tacoma Courthouse.
