Judge Samuel J. Steiner:
Notice of Chapter 13 case reassignment: On January 1, 2010, Judge Brandt's King County pending Chapter 13 cases in which the last two digits of the case number are between 50 and 99, (e.g. 08-13450 or 09-14590), will be reassigned to Judge Steiner.
Judge Brandt will retain his King County Chapter 13 cases in which the last two digits of the case number are between 00 and 49, (e.g. 09-17919 or 09-18349).
Matters needing to be scheduled for hearing on or after January 1, 2010 in cases that will be reassigned to Judge Steiner need to be set on one of his 2010 Chapter 13 calendars, which are available on the Court's website.
A docket entry will be made shortly advising you that your case will be reassigned to Judge Steiner in January. When the actual reassignment takes place, on or after January 1, 2010, a notice of reassignment will appear on the docket sheet on each reassigned case. If you are a party receiving electronic notice in a reassigned case, you will receive email notification of the reassignment.
On and after January 1, 2010, new King County Chapter 13 cases will be assigned evenly to Judge Steiner and Judge Overstreet.

1) Log on to the ECF system
2) Select the Bankruptcy menu
3) Select the Confirm/Strike/Continue Hrg menu
4) Enter the appropriate case number
5) Select the appropriate event from these options:

NOTE: Hearings are to be confirmed no later than 12:00 noon three (3) days prior to the hearing (LBR 9013-1).
