The Local Rules Committee of the Western District of Washington announces proposed amendments to the Local Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure. The proposed amended rules, a related proposed local form, and proposed amendments to two existing local forms, are listed below for public comment. Comments must be submitted in writing by email to LBRcomments@wawb.uscourts.gov or by mail to the court at U.S. Bankruptcy Court, 700 Stewart St., Suite 6301, Seattle, WA 98101. The public comment period will expire on October 10, 2016. Final amendments will be adopted by general order of the court and be effective December 1, 2016.  The court thanks all who participated in the local rule revision process.  A list of the Rules Committee members is linked below.
