Notice of Chapter 13 case reassignment: On January 1, 2010, Judge Brandt's King County pending Chapter 13 cases in which the last two digits of the case number are between 50 and 99, (e.g. 08-13450 or 09-14590), will be reassigned to Judge Steiner. Judge Brandt will retain his King County Chapter 13 cases in which the last two digits of the case number are between 00 and 49, (e.g. 09-17919 or 09-18349). Notice of Privacy Policy of Court Electronic Files
Under the Judicial Conference’s privacy policy certain personal data identifiers must be partially redacted from the case file or pleading whether it is filed traditionally or electronically. These include:
1) Social Security numbers should be redacted to show only the last four digits; 2) Birth dates should contain only the year of birth; 3) Individuals known to be minors should be referred to with initials, and 4) Financial account numbers should be redacted to the last four digits.
