The Court announces the appointment of the Honorable Marc L. Barreca as Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the Western District of Washington Bankruptcy Court. Judge Barreca's term as Chief will commence on October 1, 2019. The Court also acknowledges Judge Brian D. Lynch and thanks him for his service as Chief Bankruptcy Judge for the past five years, including 2 years as the Chief of the Chief Bankruptcy Judges in the Ninth Circuit.
