Court’s Glover Mediation Program Seeks Applications for Service on its Mediation Panel
The Thomas T. Glover Mediation Program is accepting applications from qualified individuals desiring to join its panel of trained mediators. Attorney candidates must be a member of the bar of any state for at least 5 years, be in good standing with the federal courts of the W.D. Washington, and have served as principal attorney or record in at least 10 bankruptcy cases or proceedings. See LBR 9042-2. Non-attorney applicants, and attorney applicants without bankruptcy experience, must demonstrate similar professional qualifications consistent with the Local Rules. All applicants must be willing to serve as a panel mediator for at least a two-year appointment and commit to taking at least 2 pro bono matters a year. Applicants who do not possess adequate mediation training at the time of application must commit to receiving training prior to serving as mediator on a matter assigned to the Glover Program.
