- You cannot repay the money owed by the time it is due and have filed bankruptcy.

Student Loan Resources
Individual debtors may have questions about outstanding student loans and whether those student loans obligations are dischargeable in bankruptcy. The following resources are available:
- Discharge proceedings must be initiated by an adversary proceeding, a lawsuit arising in or related to a bankruptcy case.
