Court Information

The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington serves the citizens of 19 counties in a geographic area spanning from Oregon to the Canadian border and west of the Cascade Mountains. The Bankruptcy Court has courthouses in Seattle and Tacoma and conducts hearings in other locations, including Vancouver, Washington.

 Bankruptcy Courts help people and businesses who cannot pay their debts get a fresh start, while facilitating the fair distribution of assets to creditors.  Media Information. The Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington is committed to facilitating access to court dockets, documents and proceedings for journalists. Be advised of the Court's policies that allow the use of electronic devices in the courtroom and include restrictions on the use of photography and as well as audio and visual recording and streaming.
