In the event of inclement weather resulting in the closing of court facilities, a notice will be posted on the court's website: www.wawb.uscourts.gov. If the Seattle and/or Tacoma courthouse facilities are closed, in-person proceedings will not go forward. Hearings scheduled to be held remotely may go forward at the discretion of the assigned judge. Please view the court website and the assigned judge's chambers page for specific information. Hearings scheduled for the Vancouver facility may go forward depending upon the weather circumstances in that area; again, consult the court's website for specific information.

The 341 meetings of creditors are conducted virtually and are not affected by the closure of the court facilities. Please contact the trustee assigned to your case for information regarding the status of your hearing or to request to reschedule the matter due to inclement weather.

If there is no weather closure information posted on the court website, you should assume that all facilities are open and operating on schedule.
