Announcing WAWB Bankruptcy Practice Tips

Release Date:
Mon, 11/16/2020

The Washington Western Bankruptcy Court (WAWB) is launching a series of practice tips designed to benefit new and seasoned bankruptcy professionals. Each article in the series will focus on a different aspect of a bankruptcy case or procedure. The inaugural practice tip article, linked below, is authored by Tacoma trustees Terry Donahue and Mark Waldron. Mark and Terry share best practices for providing documents to the trustee, preparing your client for 341 testimony, and what to do if issues arise between the time the petition is signed and the meeting of creditors.

Would you like to receive future practice tips directly to your email inbox? You can subscribe using this link(link is external) to receive practice tips as well as court news and announcements. Of course, all practice tips will also be archived on the best practices webpage [make a link] if you want to review them later.

We hope you enjoy this new feature. If you have suggestions for future topics, or want to contribute an article for the series, contact gina_zadra_walton @wawb.uscourts.gov. Thanks to Mari Heuerman, case administrator, for our series logo!
