Changes to Official Bankruptcy Forms due to CPI Increases and CARES Act Sunset

Temporary amendments to the Bankruptcy Code, Rules and National forms were implemented by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ("CARES Act"). Those bankruptcy provisions sunset  on March 27, 2022.  Certain of the Official Bankruptcy Forms that were modified by the CARES Act will revert to pre-CARES Act format effective March 28. 

In addition, certain dollar amounts included in the Official Forms increased as of April 1, 2022, These increases are driven by changes to the Consumer Price Index and occur at three-year intervals.
