General Order adopts Amendment to Interim Bankruptcy Rules for the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019

In January, the Court entered General Order 2020-1, adopting Interim Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure to implement the Small Business Reorganization Act of 2019.  In March, 2020, Congress enacted the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act ("CARES Act"). One provision of the CARES Act is to amend Interim Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 1020, which amendment is adopted locally in General Order 2020-5.  A redline indicating the changes to Interim Rule 1020 is attached.
