Release Date:
Tue, 09/28/2021

If the U.S. Congress fails to enact a Continuing Resolution by midnight on September 30, 2021, federal agencies will implement shutdown plans. However, in the event of a lapse of appropriations, the Judiciary has fee authorities and no-year appropriations that will enable it to sustain operations for approximately two weeks. Hearings and trials, as well as 341 meetings, will go forward on October 1 until further notice. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
