The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington is pleased to announce the appointment of Gina Zadra Walton as the new Clerk of Court. Ms. Zadra Walton will assume the Clerk of Court duties on January 1, 2023.

Ms. Zadra Walton has served the Bankruptcy Court for more than 20 years and is currently the court’s Chief Deputy Clerk. In addition to her management and administrative experience with the court, she is on the faculty of the Federal Judicial Center and the LEAD Academy (National Conference for Bankruptcy Clerks). Prior to joining the Clerk’s office, Ms. Zadra Walton was an attorney in private practice in Seattle with Davis Wright Tremaine and served as a law clerk for The Honorable Karen A. Overstreet.  She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Stanford University and obtained her JD from the University of Washington.
