The United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Washington solicits comments, pursuant to Federal Rule of Bankruptcy Procedure 9029, on proposed amendments to the Local Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and Local Bankruptcy Forms, including proposed amendments to the local form chapter 13 plan. A summary of the proposed amendments, a clean version of the local rules as proposed, a redline comparison version of the local rules, and a clean and redline version of the form chapter 13 plan, are linked below. The rules are in a .pdf format and are bookmarked for ease of navigation.

The Court is also proposing amendments to its Electronic Filing Procedures, which govern electronic filing in CM/ECF. The proposed amendments are attached in a clean and redline version.

Comments must be submitted in writing by email to LBRcomments@wawb.uscourts.gov or by regular mail as indicated in the Official Notice below. The public comment period ends October 3, 2023. Final amendments will be adopted by court order and be effective Dec. 1, 2023
