Vancouver and Port Orchard Calendars Move to ZoomGov Platform

Release Date:
Wed, 10/12/2022

The Vancouver and Port Orchard motion calendars are moving to a virtual platform, ZoomGov. Evidentiary hearings and trials will be held in person at the discretion of the assigned judge. Specifically:

  • Judge Heston will hold her first Vancouver ZoomGov calendar on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022
  • Judge Lynch will hold his first Vancouver ZoomGov calendar on Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2022
  • Judge Alston will hold his first Port Orchard ZoomGov calendar on Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2023

When noting a hearing on a ZoomGov calendar, practitioners and their staff need to take care in selecting the proper hearing location. A separate location will be established for each calendar: PortOrchardZoom, VanZoomBDL, and VanZoomMJH.  In Vancouver particularly, use of the correct location will eliminate conflicts when setting hearings before two judges on the same date/time. Refer to your assigned judge’s webpage for additional information relating to scheduling hearings and trials.

The Court website has been updated to reflect the upcoming ZoomGov hearings. A recurring link will be posted for each judge. For those familiar with the Everett calendar, the format will be the same.

Finally, new 341 notices for Vancouver and Port Orchard cases will reflect that the confirmation hearing will be held on ZoomGov instead of indicating an in-person hearing.

Questions about the new procedures can be directed to the Clerk’s office, through email, phone or online Chat.
